Welcome to another edition of the Waiver Windup! By this point in the season some underlying stats have begun to stabilize (BB% & K%) while other stats remain in small-sample-size purgatory (see BABIP). We are also finally starting to see patience in some proven players payoff: McCutchen, Kluber, and Sale just to name a few. As more and more hitters and pitchers break out of early season funks, more and more managers lose patience with their underperformers. This is a great time to ‘buy-low’![]()
